American Domestic, or also known as photos my mom would hate ("why are you taking photos of this?") is a documentary-like study of suburban and domestic life in America with a targeted eye toward lower-income, predominantly rental properties. A majority of these photos were taken while walking around my own childhood suburb in Hollywood, Florida. 

 

American domestic also places emphasis on the strange things and lovely ways we adorn our homes.
